The Kitchen Tapes are a bunch of songs that I recorded at home, because these songs have been with me for a long time.

Music has been my friend for as long as I can remember, and these songs feel like old friends. When I hear them, when I sing them, it's like getting together with my best friends for an evening of fun and no worries. You know those friends... those people for whom you don't bother to clean up the house before they show up? Yeah, those people... these songs are like that for me.

Some of these songs I wrote, and some I didn't. You won't be surprised to know that the ones I didn't write are by far the best of the bunch!
